This is the table everyone thinks of first when it comes to guest seating. It’s the most common size in the special event industry and has been around since the beginning. This popular well known option is great for catered events serving plated or buffet style. It lacks the space to accommodate the new and trendy family style dinning however. Formal dinning suggests no more than 8 per table, though it’s not recommended you can get up to 10 per table in a more casual environment.
